I watched this last night and thought it interesting. BUT, I have doubts that California will swing back as Victor suggests
I haven’t read the article, but if it’s anything like Texas, where the Hispanic vote often goes 40% Republican, it basically ends the chances of the Leftists getting much mileage out of them - and it’s also the reason Texas is still solid red, despite all the claims of the Democrats for the past 20 or so years about flipping the state.
Two caveats - first, most Texan Hispanics who vote have been here for multiple generations, and second, the new waves of migrants are often not Hispanic (the Dems see much more value in diverse voters who are still around 90 Democrat, than Hispanic voters)
.
I am still hoping for “The Big” one to destroy everything along the great fault lines. Nothing less is likely to save KKKalifonia.
I doubt this too. I think it is wishful thinking. While rank-n-file Hispanics may tend to be ‘conservative’; at the political level they too play the race/ethnic game. i.e. the Hispanic Caucus, LaRaza or whatever they call themselves now. MEChA or many other Latino/Hispanic political groups. Race before anything else
Whites and the West are incredibly naive.
The breakdown of the black community is largely the result of LBJ, Great Society welfare state liberalism, and the poisoned fruit of that evil tree. The Hispanic community needs leaders who will stand up, say to everyone that what the democrats did to blacks was criminal, and that WE WON’T LET YOU DO TO US WHAT YOU DID TO THEM. And then, as an exercise in good faith outreach, they should turn to the black community and say “you are indeed victims and we will gladly join you in the crusade for justice. But only if you point your guns at the real enemy.”
“This is a very encouraging read”
There is nothing to read.
this.
that’s what us hunkered down CA property holders have been banking on. as a protest, some of us are not selling out. yes we are buying property in red states, but keeping a foothold in CA. that things have gotten so bad, there has to be a turnaround.
we’re basically a one party state since the great RR, and we’re still hanging on and rope-a-doping the CA political mafia in our city onclaves and rural counties. to paraphrase the song:
...and maybe someday when they learn.
the Golden Bear State will return...
Will Return...
WILL RETURN!

YT video of a VHD discussion. Thought provoking and, as you will see in the comments, creating very differing opinions.
Is there actually a chance that the Dems would allow a fair election so that citizens can get their state back?

VDH is a smart guy, but he has a habit of being WAY to optimistic, e.g. in the 2022 midterms he was convinced of a Republican tsunami just as in 1994 and 2010.
Good luck
This is historically where VDH shows his neocon innards
That and treating slavery as the original sin
Pity cause he can be bright
Maybe out in the valley, but when you to Stanford or Valley Fair Malls Whites and Hispanics are nary in sight.
I have no idea where all the Whites and Hispanics are shopping these days but, it ain’t there....
New poll finds California voters resoundingly oppose cash reparations for slavery (L.A. Times)
California residents are adamantly opposed to giving million dollar checks to blacks by a 2-1 margin.
This is part of what will drive them away from the Democrats.
There is no way a regime this corrupt will allow itself to be voted out of office.
A group moving to more conservative is good news, but the idea of what is conservative keeps getting softer.
I spent years working with Latin Americans and anyone who thinks they — especially the males —aren’t naturally conservative has not.
bump
Sorry...can’t agree.Kalifornia will continue to deteriorate to the point where 1% of the population will live in places like Santa Monica and Palo Alto and the rest will live in places that resemble Burkina Faso.
