How many times does it need to be said?! The use of the bombs was NECESSARY. For me if for no other reason than it saved one airman’s - marine’s - sailor’s - soldier’s life. Curtis Le May said it himself in an interview I saw: end the war as quickly and as soon as possible.

In my opinion, we should melted Mecca and Medina after 9/11.

The world would be unimaginably better to this very day. Bush was spineless.

I think the main criticism of Bush in the future will be that he didn’t go far enough.

Tibbetts never waivered nor did he have any long-term hatred of the Japanese. In his later years he drove a Toyota.

Watching a replay of Jon Stewart saying Harry Truman was a war criminal turns my stomach.

Tibbets was a true leader, an officer and a gentleman...and a great American hero.

Indeed he was.

My former MIL lives in Salt Lake City and sometimes takes the bus over to Wendover for gambling. Whenever we hear Wendover I think that’s where Tibbetts and company trained.

I was thinking more like, you poke the bear, you get swatted.
