Sure. But we have faith in those who do that research and then bring their findings. Each and every one of us do not do the research or even own the equipment to do so. Does Hubble actually exist? Sure it does, but I bet you haven't seen it for yourself in that high Earth orbit. You believe it exists and the images they show you you were made by that instrument; but, that actually comes down to your believe in the people who brought all of that to you. There is a whole chain of evidence that you have assembled in your mind that confirms the validity of Hubble images; yet, you have never seen the hardware.

The UFO thing is really the same, except people have been conditioned to reject the witnesses.

What is even more interesting is that I can only reply to you in return from my personal comment ping page. Apparently we have been locked from replying to each other in the thread directly. This is shadow locking. Why not just put up the “This thread is locked and will receive no more replies” message? This “stealth” action concerns me... Is it just “some” members? Or does it apply to all members? Is this stealth going to start becoming “selective” over who can or cannot reply in certain threads? Or to lock out certain topics from being discussed in a hidden way?

It is a bad sign to see that happening and I hope it is rare.
