Here's the thing: Our pilots are stigmatized if they report ANYTHING unknown in a secure air training area (and others) and this is often career-ending. So they don't report. If fact, if on-board cameras record images, they destroy them rather than report them.

If these craft seen are Russian or Chinese (or from some other country), doesn't the chain of command want to know?

How can a determination be made of what is being seen by pilots unless pilots report them?
