I mentioned iOS because with an iPad you can also take pictures. I believe that the iPad iOS also makes text in pictures searchable.

Coupled with accessibility options for old eyes (mine included), it might be worth exploring.
My first exposure to iPhone was for business; I likewise want nothing to do with a smartphone, but an iPad is definitely in my future to complement my personal needs.
I hate apple. But the irony is that no one I know has been hacked behind an iOS, and hardware failures are so rare that I’ve never seen one which wasn’t user-caused. I’m trying to balance my own needs between MS Office and iOs, but it’s an ongoing struggle/transition as I stubbornly drag my feet to paperless.
Actually, much* of my Chrome usage is “behind” Startpage. But, that’s irrelevant to the print preview issue.
*I actually don’t mind Google getting a PARTIAL picture of me, where I choose the parts. ;-)
Present version Firefox is definitely a “possible”, but so are Opera and Brave, and a few others too, but I’ve little feedback on any but Firefox.
(I was really expecting to see a big thumbs up here on FR for Brave, but, got not a whisper... And I’m surprised no one has suggested TOR, though TOR’s functionality outside of privacy / security is a bit sketchy.)
My wife says her work computer DOESN’T have Firefox on it, so now I’m trying to figure out what computer I’ve been on recently DOES have it. (eye roll again!)
IE11 has no support from Microsoft. They even be removed it from windows 10/11 in an update. “The company detailed that it will release a Microsoft Edge update to permanently disable the legacy Internet Explorer desktop app on select versions of Windows 10 in February 2023”

Firefox and Vivaldi are good web browsers. Both are based on the open source Chrome. Chrome itself is to kludgy.
I use Firefox and the print preview allows ‘Fit to page’ or a percent so you can increase greater then 100%. Then you could take your screenshot.
Press F11 on your keyboard will remove the toolbar so you have a bigger screen. F11 again will return the toolbar.
I did these modifications to Firefox to make it work better then the default look. https://davidswebsite.com/Firefox_tabs/firefox_tabs.html
I use Foxit PDF Editor as the editing is as simple as using Word as an example to edit text. Adobe is not as easy plus costs far more.
I use ‘SnagIt’ to capture text from images and use ctrl, alt, T to start the capture.
it took me about a week to shed all the Windoze trash I really didn’t need and become comfortable on a Mac. I have 4 now and have probably owned 10 for my personal use in the last 15 years.
I can’t quite figure out why all the harping on IE when the only reason I mentioned it was that it had a useful print preview. I can’t think of one site that still works on IE from which I’d wish to save (or print) something, or use IE in the 1st place. Except, strangely enough, FR (still works fine on my old Win 7 Pro machine, easy to pick out — just click IE on the taskbar with FR as the home page), but from FR I’d just select and copy text into Notepad if I wanted to save, say, some part of a comment regarding PC “how to” for reference. Maybe Wordpad if it contained a link. (Why use more program than necessary?)
Firefox looks like it may be the ticket, as having full size print previews, and using IrfanView, I’d pretty much have all I need. But I sure wish I had some FReeper feedback on Brave, and maybe Opera, as Brave in particular seems particularly well thought of in online articles, from the privacy and security angles. I’m just not sure how independent some of those “professional” reviewers actually are...
In any event, thanks for the input!
Thanks for asking this question ,,,,, marked for later!
Windows 10 / 11 wanting to change to brave browser.
Use NoteTab as it has many features Notepad does not like a toolbar and the ability to Join lines or text case or the many tabs like Utilities or HTML help or Smilies etc.
There is a free and a for sale Pro version.
https://www.notetab.com
With SnagIt I can use their text capture for memes then paste into NoteTab and select all then Join lines, change text case.
For "power users," meaning those who seek a utility truck vs. a sports car, then extensions are greatly valued, as with certain hacks which enable past functions that were lost in the interest of the majority who care or know not what they are missing.
"tab mix plus" is a prime illustration.
With portable Firefox, I can use multiple browsers ( all using multiple tab rows (hack). each for its own general purpose (more efficient and organized) plus Waterfox for html pages of past posts (saves time with arthritic fingers), under One aa customized Windows 11, thank God for the tools to be used for good.
Did I share this with you: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/600-sound-volume/"image host
After installing, de-cluttering, and now having used Brave some...
The print preview display of the page to be printed is not “life size”. It appears all Chromium based browsers have this small page preview. (displays 7” tall on my 24” 4:3 business monitor)
Drat!
