That song (and method of singing) is called “Shape Note Singing”. I love it and have participated in a group sing at a folk music festival. The history of this method is very interesting.

Actually, you meant, "You are a joke." For example, grey_whiskers said 'kek' when posting about the ironic hypocrisy of another. It's not that hypocrisy is funny, but that the other person's blantant attempt at manipulation and deflection to conceal their hypocrisy was nakedly obvious and therefore a joke.

my date posted on my account is wrong. I think I started a new account in 2004, but I found FR during the hanging chads (Bush’s election). So that’d be 2000 I think. Was at a protest and met a man and woman who introduced me. I got so excited! Like-minded people are such a gift.
Sad thing is how much I believed in and worked for that traitor. Could kick myself now.

I was a lurker back then but don’t remember that thread. I checked in 4-5 times a day to stay current on as much news as I could, but there just wasn’t enough time in a day to open every headline. If I determined I had the gist of a story from the few lines on the front page, I wouldn’t have opened the thread and seen the comments. My loss. Those guys were (maybe still are) genuinely funny.
I’m the only one who thinks there’s more to it.
With doctors covering their azzes, it is even harder for people to awaken to the truth. I can never forgive them for that. I need a really big boom to jolt them awake. Praying every day for one.
