Some paranoids considered it antisemitic.

Thank you. I think you’ll enjoy that comedy as well.

The Lady has Plans, did you find it shown on rare silents and
talkies? That is listed as a ‘to be seen’ on this master list. Would love to find (outside of TCM) Ray Miland, Ruth Hussey in the movie, The Unvited (1944)

And you basically have to beat somebody senseless before they’ll even let you prove that “they” live!

They influence our decisions without us knowing it.
They numb our senses without us feeling it.
They control our lives without us realizing it.
They live
That could easily describe our HOA Board too.

This movie was campy, in an 80's sort of way, so it doesn't come off like a serious dramatically acclaimed sci-fi, and while you can't blame the over-the-top shouting, fighting and shooting scenes, because after-all, it is starring Roddy Piper (RIP), there is something slightly leading edge about the plot device in this movie. Like the Matrix before it's time, They Live strongly hints that there's something deeply wrong with the system, and it has to do with learning that there could be a curtain from someone to hide behind. It seems more relevant today, because people seemed to have awaken to the fact that the information stream available to them from the top-down is manipulating them.

So it's a movie about Biden, Incorporated?
They influence our decisions without us knowing it.
They numb our senses without us feeling it.
They control our lives without us realizing it.

“Panic in year Zero, with Ray Milland and Frankie Avalon (1962) is a laugh riot for more reasons than I can list.
That’s one of my favorites for a “B” movie.
It not particularly funny to me just cheap “B” movie stuff.
I read somewhere that Milland was drunk most of the time during filming.
“THEM!” 1954 is my favorite for this kind of stuff.
