“confirms my instinct not to ever use any of this modern garbage”
I can relate. I don’t even have a cell phone.
Oh, I also do not have a TV.
I do not have a “ring” doorbell and I do not have an Alexa or anything similar in my home. My fridge is not hooked to the internet and neither is my washer or dryer. Those two appliances do not even have the computer controlled buttons. They have the old fashioned “click, click, click” knobs. Hubby will just have to repair them when something goes wrong, because those computerized models are not “user” friendly and I refuse to own one.
The feds probably get all the info they need about me from my comments here. And Amazon has my order history and doesn’t need any other information about me or my family.
Yep.
And people don’t have reading comprehension or just never learned to read.
No device spied on the guy. The delivery driver reported to Amazon the old fashioned way (probably erroneously). Although I don’t care for most “smart home” stuff, for good reason, “spying” on the customer by Alexa or other devices HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS!!!
It only sailed because so many people are bribed to not use cash. How much cash do you use? I use it almost exclusively exempt for internet purchases from companies I want to support that are no where near me.
I use cash. I do not use credit cards. I only write checks to pay bills. Every time you use a credit card, it costs you. The young people don’t use checks because they don’t know how to write them.
