True - but there were plenty of violations of our civil liberties before then.
Lockdowns
Mask Mandates
Shutting down churches
Remember all of that? It sort of set the tone for the vaccine mandates.
I think you’re missing a word somewhere in there.
I think they use “+” because there weren’t enough letters in the alphabet.
Free Republic is sort of the place where people talk about politics and personal opinions.
But my point was to explain my perspective - I am not a never trumper. I voted for him twice and if he wins the primary will 99% vote for him again (provided he doesn’t further backslide from his previous pro-life stance).
Donald Trump, Pence’s Taskforce, and Why DeSantis’s Revisionist Attacks Will Fail
Right...he is either too trusting or else a really poor judge of character
Well, those are all fair points in the article. Disappointing about Pence, but I don’t think anyone is voting for him.
Do you feel dirty when you type something you know isn’t really true?
At least learn how to spell the evil doctor’s name.
“She holds the power and there was no reason to tick her off “
I think that’s exactly why he supported her. But he shouldn’t have. She already had betrayed him and he knew that. Lindell was someone he KNEW would be an ally but he went with Ronna instead.
Not ticking her off, or ticking her off, really wasn’t something he should’ve considered. She would have screwed him either way.
Great point!
No, because I don't post false facts. The Covid task force was created to: "coordinate and oversee the administration's efforts to monitor, prevent, contain, and mitigate the spread" of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) "Pence was in charge of the Covid task force. He staffed the task force, brought on Birx and others, and were the ones responsible for "2 weeks to slow the spread."
Donald Trump, Pence’s Taskforce, and Why DeSantis’s Revisionist Attacks Will Fail.
Trump touted Warp Speed and the vaccine until it became politically expedient to disavow it. We all know the buck stops with POTUS, but evidently you think this was all Pence's fault.
Do you blame Biden for the issues at the border, or is it all Kamala's fault because Biden put her in charge of it? I don't think you'll answer that question.
I'd rather look at the things he did right, not look back on what might or could have been, or some useless, half-assed medal that means shit. You had the choice to take or not take the vaccines he promoted based on what he believed were true facts. He never made them mandatory. If you were stupid enough not to question them, and got the shots...that's on you. Not Trump. If that's all it takes for you to turn your back on him, go ahead. There will be another new Trump voter to take your place. Or maybe you've been a Trump hater all along. That's your choice too. I'm not a one-issue voter. Are you?
If you think that you, or anyone else, given the information provided for you at the time, could or would have done a better job, then run for office yourself, so you can work wonders and shit blunders like most elected officials do. Nobody's perfect, and I don't vote for someone to be perfect. I voted for Trump to fight for us, and put America First, and he did that for four years.
