[Our state is and has been overseen by conservatives at the state level. The local level is a duel Republican/Democrat control. Each party and ideology watching each other. In the large county’s the election officials are pretty savvy and knowledgeable. It would be hard for one side to hoodwink the other. So the Libs controlling the process seems about as flimsy as Lake’s evidence.]
Lake is relying on the ignorance of people who don’t know the nuts of bolts of Arizona’s electoral process to raise money for another run. If she wins this time, the best that can be said is that it was just a white lie. If she loses - that money just disappeared, for a candidate who seriously exaggerated her electability at contributor expense.
