I know. That’s what I thought considering the source still has his job after that.
Of course it makes some sense, but Texas doesn’t permit gold-backs for real spending. Birch Gold said Oklahoma doesn’t permit gold-backs either.
I can’t be comfy with owning gold on paper, and not overly impressed with having gold coins around the place or in the sugar bowl. I dunno.

Yes a lot of donated clothes get sent overseas.
We call these places ukay ukay...usually small merchants with outdoor kiosks who sell it to working class folk.
A used t shirt is 25 to 50 pesos or 50cents to a dollar. A good collared sports shirt might be 2 to 10 dollars.
A poor quality Chinese tee shirt is 5 to ten dollars. A good quality spots shirt at the mall is 30 dollars.
Now you are a farmer making 7 dollars a day. Which do you buy?
