Eisenhower meant well, but he had taxes up into the 80-90% range. In government the road to hell is paved with good intentions. He seemed on the alert to the “industrial-military complex” but seemed blind to the threat of the ever-growing unconstitutional portion of the federal government.
Same with the GOP and the Right in general.

Given the chance, the Federal government and agencies WILL ALWAYS IGNORE ‘LEGAL AUTHORITY’, ‘LIMITED AND ENUMERATED’, and even their Constitutional requirements.
It is up to the states and the people to elect and demand limited government from those elected in the “eternal” fight for freedom.

Could it be because the FBI, and NSA, and other international intelligence and police agencies, have been downloading photos from Facebook to create face recognition databases?
Why would they bother? The database of RealID driver's licenses combined with Passport and other government photo IDs has almost everyone covered.
