I use a Merkur 34C safety razor (Germany) with Feather blades (Japan) and Taylor of Old Bond Street shaving creme (England). The most critical thing to me is the blades, there are Feather blades and everything else.

God forbid I ever put an electric shaver to my face, time to just hang it up then.

Schick Titaniums each last me 4-6 months each, and I don’t dry them.

They don’t nick you, due to the titanium, and as long as you have a good shaving or shower gel, the little strip not being “new,” doesn’t matter.
