The Deep Purple version of ‘Hush’ was a cover of the original by Joe South.

Gretchen Wilson with Alice in Chains covering Barracuda in a tribute to Heart in 2007. Is it a cover if Nancy Wilson joined in? Either way, Gretchen Wilson nailed it. Amazing voice.

That was blasphemy, until I heard it. AMAZING rendition. Never to be topped.

The Man Who Sold The World. Nirvana version way better than David Bowie original.
Whisky in the Jar. Metallica version way better than the Thin Lizzy version, although it's an old song. But Thin Lizzy was the first rock band to record it.

Haven't you created a monster. Well done!
Hope lots that I have not fat fingered any of the links.
My contributions to the chaos. Three covers from The Coors. Three Irish sisters and a brother from the late 90s through 2000s.

I know it’s a spoof and critique of Michelle Obama’s lunch program. Yet it better than the original “we are young” and more importantly 100% accurate.
When I saw the leftist show Young Turks slam this song and the mostly kids who made it, I instantly hated them and have since.

George Harrison's version of "If Not For You" is better than Dylan's original. Olivia Newton John's version was pretty good, too.

The Deep Purple version of ‘Hush’ was a cover of the original by Joe South. Prominently featured in "Once Upon A Time In Hollywood".

Wild Horses by the Sundays -- better than the Stones One of my favorite vocalists, Harriet Wheeler. "Here's Where The Story Ends" is sublime.
