Fallbrook is north of San Diego/Escondido and south of Temecula. It is art the front gate tp Naval Weapons Station Fallbrook, which is a major weapons storage facility for all types of munitions, some highly classified. On the west end of the base lies Camp Pendleton, the west coast major US Marines base/training center. NWS Fallbrook has a small number of military personnel, (US Navy), assigned to it, all of whom provide security for the egress/ingress to the base and 24 hour a day roving security for the weapons storage bunkers. I spent 2 years assigned there a Chief Operations Officer, (E-7) in the mid 1990’s. The town is very patriotic and mostly ex military or civil servants whom have worked at the base or Pendleton for decades.

I love that the South embraced Dixie which was written as a dis to the Confederacy.
