Ukraine ping
A reminder that the Special Military Operation continues felling both ordinary and extraordinary Ukrainians. Could he have fled to the West? Very likely. Yet he chose to make a stand so his nation might live. Like his less well-known civilian counterparts, his name has entered the pantheon of heroes who answered their nation’s call to arms and paid the ultimate price. When Ukraine finally evicts the Russians from its soil, Ukraine’s old Russian place names will likely be supplemented gradually with the names of heroes who gave their present, so the nation might have a future, much as Revolutionary War heroes are similarly remembered.

The Ukraine is running out of Ukrainians so that Biden can cover his crimes.

Good for him. Lived and died a patriot.
Cassius Clay was a coward.

A whole generation of Ukrainian men lost to this war. And all for nothing. Will the Ukrainians ever wake up to the fact that they were merely pawns in the geo-political great game?

I highly doubt that most Ukrainians feel the same way as you, an observant from far away with nothing to lose. But, in the long run, you cold be the loser.

The Ukes may not feel that way yet but they soon will after Congress pulls back on their funding. So far they’ve lost a third of their country including their most strategic territory. Not to mention half their population is in exile many never to return. You think the Ukrainians will think it worth this? Somehow I doubt it.

It’s terribly sad, and yet so many here want them all to fight to the death.

Ali faced more pain and loss by the path he chose. He was not a coward. He was a free thinker. He found out the very hard way that no organization of man can be trusted.

Everyone *but* the Ukrainians thought they would lose and the war would be over very quickly. The West (including the Biden administration) offered asylum to President Zelensky.
The problem was, the Ukrainians did not agree. Russia would have achieved victory if the Ukrainians did not fight.
But the Ukrainians fought, stopped the Russian advance, and have even manged to regain significant territory.
NATO did not orchestrate this war.
Ukraine decided to fight.
Ukrainians remember the Holodomor, where Stalin deliberately starved 4-6 million Ukrainians to death.

What is Biden leaning on in this picture?
It almost looks like a body part.
I’m sure that I must be wrong.

No defense when the rest of us had to go - he’s a free thinking coward. Right next to Jane Not Fonda.
