Both my brother and I got serious enterovirus the same week.

High fever, and I got dehydrated to the point of renal failure. BP was 60/40 by the time my son took me to the hospital. Tore up my stomach and colon

I seriously think it was the chimichanga lunch special at a Mexican restaurant, but the Dr’s didn’t agree.

Too much coincidence that we both had the same symptoms at the same time. His Dr gave him Cipro, mine something else which obviously didn’t cut it

Closest to death I’ve ever been. Fortunately the ER Dr emptied 5 bags of saline in me as fast as 3 IVs could handle and Jumpstarted my kidneys again

Ripple is very good.

I knew it was fortified . . . but not with protein.

“That’s a new one to me”
________________________

You should have seen MY face when my trainer told me about it.

Promised me it shouldn’t hurt my IBS and would help me with eating healthier in the long run. LOL

I order it through Amazon (ugh, I know) because I prefer the smaller size for storing capacity. Because of my medical issues I like to keep items I need daily in my Quiet Room and it’s great.

It really surprised me. And every now and then, a real tiny bit manages to stay solid and instead of the gagging reflex it just melts on the tongue like a nice bit of candy.

It’s been years since I was able to enjoy Peanut Butter in any amount without terrible reactions so I am thrilled. My trainer was also the one to suggest I eliminate flour for 30 days; it only took about 5 days for my body to calm down. For years I’d been ill daily and nothing was making any sense.

The same with milk. Though not tested I’ve eliminated all but two things: Half and Half with coffee when I eat out and a bit of whipped cream by itself when I can get it at restaurants.

I also have what’s called Cold Uticaria (Cold Allergy) and cannot have cold foods so whipped cream is such a treat and that has to set out while I have the main dinner to warm up. Having had extreme reactions to Air Conditioning, outside air, cold foods/drinks, I do not take any chances at all, any more.

Sorry I babbled.

If someone had told me I’d be enjoying powdered Peanut Putter and Cocoa at all, I’d have called them crazy. LOL

My suggestion is that you ditch the so-called ‘dietitian’.

Unless, that is, you choose to further degrade your health with that garbage. /s

I've spent the last few months working out and trying to get in better shape. I found a protein powder at Stop and Shop but it's hard to tell if it's making a difference.

Toss a raw egg into the blender with it.

If you need to put on weight the best solution is the following:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06XH3F973/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

It is the cheapest and includes carbs for weight gain.

As others have said you have to go with what your system will tolerate, but if you can use whey, it is the least expensive and best.

Read the reviews and you will see.

I hope insurance covers this for you. Protein powders are ridiculously expensive these days.

I texted my sis in Jax and there was a big container of whey protein mix on my rural indiana doorstep 15 minutes later

Haven’t checked in to what Medicaid, my Part D or supplement State Farm will pay

I see my primary next week after he gets results of other recent testing

The stuff she sent me tasted pretty good, but I also bought some nanners to toss in the blender with my smoothie
