Read slowly. This site is behind the times. I post all the time in other groups but not this. Its a pain. Its not a 1st amendment site. Every other site I belong to I can just copy a picture into the comment. Here, I have to download a picture, then go to an outside site to get the code to post.
False. Q stated Kennedy was dead when asked. Disinformationists spread rumors otherwise. Again - the real purpose behind this thread is the FReepathon.
You want to frame me as attacking JimRob that’s fine. Typical leftist strat. Ok fine, if that empowers you against me... But I’m interested in the future of conservative engagement with the masses. This establishment needs input and improvement to be future proof. I’m simply saying on this fundraising thread that I’m not giving any more thousands $$$$ and explaining why. If that’s a hard pill, then I’m sorry but I’m down with conservatism and outreach and FR seems to be falling behind on both counts.

“Q” is the small group that preached thinking for oneself, doing one’s own
research, trusting oneself, praying, sharing and meme-ing.
“Q” asked a lot of good questions and pointed out a lot of “coincidences”.
“Q” sparked a lot of interest in “narratives”, censorship, dis-information, and
bad actors in our government and our businesses.
“Q” was never on Signal and never mentioned any of that stuff you, and too
many of us have heard shoveled. It would not surprise me if some of that
nonsense was indeed ChatGPT created, as you suggest. The Left can’t Meme,
or even think very well for themselves.

IOW Q is nothing and everything.
I don’t care so much about Q as I do about this website. FR has a very long established presence that I believe is being wasted due to a lack of focus and development. I want to continue to financially support the site but I would like to hear about a future roadmap. Have never, ever, ever, ever, ever seen or heard of such a plan from JimRob. Do the Robinsons not know how modern IT businesses are run?
You’re posting all that rah-rah to someone who knows we are slaves.
We don’t even know what freedom or liberty would look like in a world based on truth. Our education was programming to make us better slaves to the establishment and media. We pretty much have to get THAT situation resolved before even understanding where our patriotism should be directed.
Let’s let this apocalypse play out and see what our cherished ideas look like on the other side of it.
Quarter after Quarter we are asked to donate but we as doners never get hear about future plans or technology roadmaps. Why is that? Oh right, no one is ever held to account, just give money ‘cause conservative..??? That’s the message.

As a donation funded, non-corrupted, ad free conservative forum, I’m happy if
it just remains running and secure. We’re never going to get local image or video
hosting at this funding level, for example.
Keeping it non corrupted, ad free, and fairly moderated is worth putting up with
some of the niceties requiring some extra effort, I think.
But yes, it would be nice to know if Jim intends for Free Republic to survive him or not.
Thanks for your comments. We’ve always had plans for FR, but life always seems to get in the way (long story that I don’t want to get into right now). But (God willing) I’m sure we have a great future. The next generation of the Robinson family is getting ready to take the reins, and they have great ideas.
We are not a big modern hi-tech company, by the way. It’s just the four of us. My son John is our primary programmer and tech guy. I taught John everything I knew about programming and then he went out on his own and learned a whole lot more.
One lesson John took to heart is, “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it”. Admittedly, we took this to the extreme, but we are now enjoying a period of relative stability. A few years ago, John finally found the problem in our systems software that was causing random crashes. And that also fixed our sluggishness problem. Then three years ago, we retired our old home-grown hardware system and updated to a totally new hardware platform, and now we never have a hardware crash. The only crash we’ve had in three years was an administrative crash, and hopefully we won’t have any more of those.

Oh yeah, and we don’t have any consultants. FR started out as just a hobby and grew from there. It’s more a labor of love than a hi-tech business.
