“Complicating the matter is Perez had previously purchased another exotic mammal, a kinkajou, from the pet shop for which she still owed a debt. This in turn led the pet store to author a post on social media naming Perez and offering $3,000 for information leading to the kinkajou’s return.”

She definitely needs her head examined... It cost her $100 bucks.

“The event lasts 20-30 minutes, with the “level of interaction determined by Sid.” Participants must be at least 8 years old. Those 15 and younger must be accompanied by a paying adult.

The encounters can be booked online and cost $49.99. Those who book encounters must sign a waiver acknowledging there are inherent risks that can result in serious injury or death.

Perez booked and paid for her and her daughter’s encounter with Sid, she said.”

Chimp will rip your arm off, then beat you to death with it

Reality bites her in the arse.

“It’s so frustrating. I paid $100 for my daughter to be bit essentially.”

Always follow the sloth instructions. And do not act like an apple around sloths.

The victim should have gotten her $50. dollars back.
An earlier poster here said the 2 toed Sloth is known to be more aggressive than the 3 toed Sloth. I never knew that.

Maybe this facility should be using that more passive 3 toed Sloth for this activity, that have it age restricted to 18 or older, or just don’t offer this to the untrained public.
That bite probably ruined this adventure experience for her.

Everybody EXPECTS a chimp to rip your face off and eat it.

Not so much with sloths and koalas.

The pet store owner named this woman online about an unpaid debt? I get his anger over $3K still unpaid, but that seems unprofessional and very personal.
Makes you wonder if the 15 year old was ‘matched up’ with this jumpy, crabby, bitey Sloth on purpose.

So is she turning into a sloth yet? Maybe it’s a slow process.

When I was a zookeeper, the sloths were the least dangerous animals we had. Even rabbits had to be watched more closely.

Hmmm… things I would rather do with $49.99? Actually, there’s quite a few things I can think of. Many of them are made from corn.
