I really enjoy the series, but I really enjoyed the game. Of course being newly retired and it being winter (October to June) in the Northern wilderness of W Washington, it is between reading, tv watching or playing video games to fill my time.
Jeez...Washington’s a beautiful state. Daughter was posted at JBLM and we visited often. Did several round-robin trips around the state. Absolutely beautiful.

Just finished the season finale.
I've enjoyed this show, but I like the post-apocalyptic genre. I kinda wish I'd waited until a few seasons were in the bag before I started watching it, which is exactly what I did with The Walking Dead.
I wouldn't expect you'd find many fans on this forum. Twenty years ago, yes, but those FReepers have left.
Looking forward to Season Two. Apparently there will be a significant time jump and a different actress will be playing Ellie.
FWIW, I know nothing about the video game. I've never played it.
Who the hell wants to watch a series about wholesome, Christian families? BORING!
Although, I suppose for entertainment, you could watch "The Handmaid's Tale" and root for the bad guys which is kinda how I'm watching it (except the premise is just so damn preposterous, it's difficult to suspend disbelief. I have an easier time believing zombie shows).
