If he has any hands at all?? At 6-foot-4 and 244 pounds and a 4.43 forty, I would make him a tight end.

Brady was also a very good baseball player. He was drafted by the expos. Baseball translates in seems, mahomes, elway, r Wilson, marino, etc

Zack Wilson excelled at the combine and became a first round pick by the NYJ, only to become a total bust.

I don't know, Lions haven't had much luck with PAC10/12(thinking Joey Ballgame)...then again, Lions haven't had much luck, period.

He looked pretty good against USC(but 3 picks), so-so in the bowl game against Pitt(also 3 picks)

Lions don’t need a QB, a serviceable backup for now will do.

They’ll be better options down the road. This isn’t really that great of a QB class.

I told everybody AR-15 would win the underwear olympics.

Whether he will be a good QB in the NFL eventually, I can’t say. He’s very raw and needs a lot of development. He’s jumped to the NFL before he was even far enough along to know if he can develop. He is an absolutely spectacular athlete though. Big, strong, fast, strong arm....he has all the tools.

But the days of developing a QB for a few seasons behind a starter are over.

Highly drafted quarterbacks are now expected to produce immediately. What’s the point of developing a QB for a few seasons, only to lose him to FA once his first contract is up?

He’s so fragile he missed zero games. He played badly at times but he also played really well at times. All the hallmarks of a very young QB who still needs a lot of development.

Go back and look at that Tennessee game though if you doubt he can play well. He played pretty well against LSU and Utah too. usf and Kentucky were lowlights.

There have been a few. Usually they were young at UF and then developed as they got older. That’s not so unusual.

He missed the Bama game in 2022. He might have made the difference in that one. He had a bad ankle in a couple games, which limited him mobility, and defenses knew that, and dared him to beat them through the air. Now granted our receivers this year, outside of Pearsall, were hot garbage, but still.

For a QB? I would say the game is a changin. More Jalen Hurts style.

Trask was way more than decent. He was spectacular. He had as good of a season 2020 as any Gator QB has ever had.

He blew out his knee. Its unknown if Rising will even play for Utah against UF next season.

The fact Mullen basically had no choice but to play Trask, and had the other QBs ahead of him, is another reason why Mullen is no longer in Gainesville.

JaMarcus Russell stayed at LSU long enough for everybody to know he was not going to develop. AR-15 did not stay at UF long enough for anybody to determine that.

I didn’t hear that about his knee, that’s too bad.

He did play great in his senior year, just enough to fool the Raiders.

Several QBs in the NFL have been developed. Was Josh Allen great the day he entered the league? What was his completion percentage as a senior in college?
