Great company.
i bought a new tacoma last fall...
Notice they are not going ALL-IN for EVs.
I love my Camry!
RAV4 hybrid 2021 here. I have had numerous Toyotas with little to no problems and all ending up with high mileage. My Highlander had 210,000 on it when I gave it to my son.
But they are heavily into Hybrids, which is the smart way to electrify cars and trucks.
Probably all the pickups we left in Afghanistan for the terrorists,.
Yep their CEO is only one not following the approved script.
I had a Toyota pick-up truck some 30 years ago. Basic truck, standard transmission. I bought it new off the lot without an A/C, as it was cheaper to have one installed afterward, which I did. Great truck. Served me well.
Toyota? 3rd generation circa 1997 Limited 4Runners are great vehicles. Folks up in Alaska love them for durability.
i inherited my dad’s 2020 rav4 limited last august...
it only had 16,000 miles on it and was garage kept...
traded it even for the new 2022 tacoma at the local toyota dealership...
My first car was a 1968 Toyota Corona. It was a piece of crap. It was always overheating. I guess I should have waited a few years before buying a Toyota.
We’re an all-Toyota household now, very pleased.
Subaru not bad either. Outbacks still on the road with hundreds of thousands of miles on them.
Do not like the new look of the Tundras so i bought one from 2019. Absolutely love my Tundra. Toyota makes damn good vehicles.
The 3rd Gen 97 is the 4Runner. Perhaps the toughest, most durable, and strongest one ever made. Indestructable. I got one back from my nephew and it had been pretty abused. So much gunk from non detergent motor oil, couldn’t even get a reading on the dipstick. replaced the fuel pump and pulled 3300lbs camper with it all over South Carolina. Over 335,000 miles now and son is still using as a daily driver.
funny thing is on some V8 models, the starter is on top of the engine under the intake manifold. Some engineers have a special place in Hell reserved according to mechanics.
Nowadays people put some serious money into them. Just great vehicles. Not too big, not too small. Here's a clean 97 I grabbed off skynet.
