Big cats love pigs, just a nice hunky ball o’ meat.
Driving back late one night I passed this small tightly packed neighborhood outside of town, down the road I saw a dog waiting to cross the country road to go into the subdivision when I got up on that dog turned out to be a coyote going in for a midnight snack.
They say if a fox moves into the neighborhood the cats and the rabbits start disappearing also the small dogs.
Up in the Northeast they have those Fisher Cats which is basically one tough weasel.
I was doing some work up there and on the radio during the winter, announcements were broadcast advising listeners to keep their pets inside. When Fisher cats were out pets would come up missing.

How well i know- trapped on, thought we had killed it- was riding snowmobile back to car and the dang thing crawled out of the pack-basket- had to stop and finish it off again- Raccoons can be pretty dang tough too- but the fisher is a beast in a small package-
