I would highly recommend keeping a completely open mind about whatever these entities are. Some people, like Jacques Vallee, have said that they have been with us throughout human history. Elves, daimons, fairies/faeries, phantasms, ghosts, and even leprechauns.
At this point, we know nothing, but we do have a mountain of anecdotal reports. Prof Diana Pasulka says our anecdotal evidence spans all history. (check her out, she is incredibly smart and reliable as a source)
Though these entities may be comprised of many different beings, some of them are described as tricksters and liars. Ergo, don't trust what they might say about themselves or our world.
Some people who have experienced them and/or interacted with them have been traumatized and left with devastating physical illnesses.
Some people, Lue Elizondo for one, says that what we are dealing with will completely change our understanding of consciousness and be so paradigm-shifting as to have the potential to erase a person's very personality.
It is natural to form ideas about what we are facing, but (I think) it is important that we remain flexible in our thinking because what we are about to confront is possibly like nothing else human cultures have ever confronted before en masse, by an order of magnitude.
As an aside, also check out Dr. Garry Nolan, one of the chief scientists at the Stanford University School of Medicine Pathology Dept. He is now perhaps the face of the scientific community examining the "Phenomenon." He has a clearer view of what this thing is than anyone else if only due to his fanatical devotion to the scientific method (he is absolute in his refusal to allow bias to infect his analyses). Garry Nolan's leadership has opened the door for scientists all over the world to get involved in the study of this matter. In fact, it is now the scientific community that is leading the way (however quietly and without fanfare).
McKenna’s point was that words are a very limiting form of communication.
Pictures (without words) can give a lot more subtle detail.
Then when you add the human tendency to have an “agenda” or a “narrative” it turns out that a lot of communication is strongly misleading or biased.
His “agenda” was to think about new forms of communication where you see what was really on a person’s mind and see through any agendas or narratives.
Sorry bout that.
Excellent point!!! I completely agree.
Our own human preconceptions are very difficult to recognize and deal with.
Good morning.
The lying and “trickster” elements of the “aliens” shows just how difficult it is to get the truth—even with telepathy if the other party can control their own thoughts.
Perhaps one of the meta messages of the phenomenon is to trust no one or nothing and to learn slowly and methodically without jumping to conclusions.
I may make a poster of that and put it on my office wall. That is the best advice ever!!!!!!!!
Imagine the likely diversity of life throughout the universe.
We can not deal with the cultural and minor physical differences of our own species.
Hard lock-down on this place.
As some scientists have said, life isn't the exception but the rule. It's everywhere. Life is like water, it wants to fill every little crack and crevice.
We live in very exciting times.
Absolutely, I will.
There is so little we know about how this all works. Quantum physics, frequency, our brains. Even our best guesses probably fall short. Thanks again for links and information. Appreciated.
ummmmm.... ...the mere fact that they got here should be evident of their "highly advanced technology"!!
I fkng give up reading the rest of an article after it becomes evident the author is either stupid, or is confident the readers are!!
