Build your own (see above post) and maybe buy a copy of Windows 7 retail as here
Because it is simply should not be needed (I do not play games) due to its advanced integrated video. That is what the "G" is for in 3200G (I have) and Ryzen 5 5600G and 7 5700G. Has been given good reviews, even thoughn now it is about $100 cheaper.
If you thought the AMD Ryzen 7 5700G was a great value for an 8 core/16 thread CPU from AMD, which we proved in our review, then step aside and let’s welcome a great value for a 6 core/12 thread CPU with the AMD Ryzen 5 5600G APU desktop processor. The AMD Ryzen 5 5600G is an APU based on AMD’s latest Zen 3 architecture with AMD Radeon Graphics built-in. - https://www.thefpsreview.com/2022/03/17/amd-ryzen-5-5600g-apu-performance-review/
Cheaper than the IGP-less Ryzen 5 5600X ($299 MSRP) and layered in with the highly-capable Radeon RX Vega 7 graphics engine, the AMD Ryzen 5 5600G is a serious threat to Intel's competing Intel Core i5-11600K on CPU grunt, and really puts the hammer down once you factor in its gaming results and its Radeon Software compatibility. - https://www.pcmag.com/reviews/amd-ryzen-5-5600g
My 3200G w/ 64GB Ram and m.2 NVME main drive plus 3 SSD's easily handles about 400 tabs open across 7 browsers with multitpe tab rows (hack) and many documents, thanks be to God.
But maybe they figured that wasn’t a good deal for THEM. Maybe there were still enough people exchanging their old phones for new ones that they made more money giving less for a trade in.
I’m sure they thought about the pros and cons of their new policy more than you did.
And if they find out that the higher trade in amount made them more money they can easily go back to it. Have they changed back?
Decent budget build! I don’t remember if that cpu and mobo combo needs a video card?
I typically buy a mid grade video card to accommodate a 4k monitor, I usually have 2 connected.
No need for GPU: https://freerepublic.com/focus/chat/4123530/posts?page=42#42
I won’t argue Mac’s are overpriced, but haven’t owned a Wintel machine yet that has been as dependable as the mac’s I’ve owned.
OF course I also stayed away from the crappy macbooks where they got rid of the USB-A ports and put in that craptastic keyboard etc as well
Far as I’m concerned the Macbook Pro Peaked in 2015. Only recently in 2021, did they finally undo the fiasco that was the crapbook pro.
Still have a touchpad that is needlessly gargantuan and the absolute pointless gimmick they call the touchbar. But at least they returned to having decent and proper ports, and left USB-C Dongle mania behind.
Far as I’m concerned Jony Ive’s should have been fired for the 2016 Macbook lunacy, and the entire company should be b1tch slapped for sticking with it for 6 years. Lets not even get into the keyboard nonsense... How the hell do you break a Keyboard Apple?? I have keyboards from 1982 that still work perfectly but your insane desire to just make it thinner broke the most basic interface component of the computer.
Honestly, I think with Cook at the helm they are shadow of the company they once were, at least from the hardware side.
They have been for years since 1986: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_AMD_graphics_processing_units
