DeSantis has said that violent protestors, regardless of politics, regardless of reason, need to be held accountable. A position not out of step with most Americans.

No shortage of NeverTrumpers here that are hell-bent on marching into Moscow (or nuking Russia, as a backup plan). Their posting histories regarding Trump make that PERFECTLY CLEAR.
But I will concede that there are others who haven’t bothered to look beyond the Western Media to try to understand what the problem is in Ukraine, so they really have NO CLUE as to what’s going on, or the history there.

I’m not voting for Trump to be my preacher. As President his record on moral issues has been better than most. That’s the basis on which I judge him as a candidate. His personal opinions on these issues don’t mean that much to me as long as he doesn’t pursue them as a matter of policy.
I don’t give Trump a pass on his continuing support for the “wonderful vaccine” either. I voted for him, and I liked him. But unless he admits he was mislead about the jabs, and quits with this homo love, he’s dead to me.

He didn’t approve, he just didn’t condemn. Trump was elected in part because he wasn’t always preaching at people and pretending that he was more moral than he is.
