The attacks on the electric system predate the war.
The first attack (that I am aware of happened in California I believe in 2019.
A high powered rifle took out a substation.
My impression is that this is the actions of militant Greens.
The fact that the Feds have not captured the perps is, for me, evidence of that.

Maybe they should take some of the cartel kickback money and place a few cameras around substations. I mean they do seem ‘tight’ with the cartels. No arrests - no intimidation. Nope that’s saved for conservative Americans.
Then, with cameras if they catch liberal antifa thugs they can ignore the crime. And if they catch conservatives they can instantly leak the news to the Washington Post and every other social media scam artist they pay off to carry their water.
