Indeed. We pray for God’s will be done through our prayers of petition. Understand, the answer for the prayer of petition is the fact that this approach is allowed by the special relationship of the Christian to the Father. The Christian as a child of God filially serves as the willing instrument of the Father’s purpose because of our our special relationship to the Father.

We pray our petitions as a Christian to God our Father. We are Blessed to serve God as his Son taught us to serve. Then, we pray through the Spirit making all our petitions of prayer that express our Christian concern, from our Christian status, and within our Christian function as a child of God.

Of course you can petition God with prayer,but you must understand and be willing to submit to God’s will, or your prayer is not only not heard but demonic. You should ask in the proper spirit of submission to God.

I have never seen you pray here at FR for anything but what YOU want. You think you know the Father’s purpose? You know his will? Or are you maybe just another self righteous and deceived tool.

I will believe you are a child of God when you act like one. Pray for the suffering of ALL, that God will grant a peaceful end to it. That may mean the opposite of what you want.
