The point is there no significant difference between the Russian and Ukrainian cultures and peoples. Both are in fact led by Russians! That has a major impact on the moral evaluation of the war. It certainly means we have no strategic interest in the war or defending Ukraine. We agree on that, I didn’t realize I had to spell it out for you.

It’s not merely Zelenski’s surname it’s the point that HE IS A RUSSIAN. As are huge numbers of Ukrainians.

Everyone in America does NOT have a surname from a different ethnicity. Many do. Not all. There is a dominant originating culture and ethnicity - hailing from the British Isles. You very seriously need to learn some history and culture before you make arguments and statements that are frankly a waste of time. You are, like a typical American, largely ignorant of your own and the world’s histories and cultures.

I read the transcript of the speech. Seemed pretty boilerplate. Thanked for help. Thanked for future help if forthcoming. Painted the conflict as a little more than a border dispute but when you are getting shot at, it tends to be a big deal. Not sure What Tuckums is blathering about.
