Illinois, Highest sales tax, highest property taxes, income tax was low but keeps rising. Home value has not gone up a penny in two decades. Crime rising through the roof. Infrastructure falling apart. Crime alone would make me leave.
Small town Northern Wisconsin. nobody locks their bike, or car or house. No garbage, no graffiti, property all taken care of. Its a different world.

I will veto any legislation that turns back the clock on reproductive rights. Governor Evers supports permitting undocumented immigrants living in Wisconsin to obtain driver's licenses, and has called this position "common sense". In December 2019, in response to Trump's executive order requiring states' consent for refugee resettlement, Evers sent the administration a letter stating that Wisconsin would accept refugees, calling them "part of the fabric of [the] state", and criticizing Trump's refugee policies as "overly cumbersome and inappropriate". In June 2019, Evers issued an executive order to fly the rainbow flag at Wisconsin's Capitol Building for Pride month, making it the first time the rainbow flag had ever flown above the capitol.

I cannot help that Milwaukee and Dane counties vote are higher than the population. So, our state wide elected officials are frauds. But local elected officials outside of those two counties are generally good. Once they instituted centralized vote counting and mail-in ballots, we lost control of the state-wide offices. The teachers union is especially responsible for this fraud, as well as Zuckerberg.
