I get that. My impression was the article is talking about quarters minute after 1967. If it’s talking about quarters minted when silver quarters were minted for circulation, never mind. I must have missed that.

If you know a little about old coins I have a question...
I have a coin from 1829. Very worn but it is a Liberty with 13 stars and her headband says Liberty. On the back it looks like it says ONE CENT but the O and E of the word “ONE” was struck with a larger itallic “5”.
I will try and send a pic but have yet to see anything online regarding possible errors.
I’m afraid I know next to nothing. I just wandered into some info while surfing the net this week. Look through the thread; some others seem to have more experience.
