UPDATE: A spokesperson from Texas Senator Ted Cruz’s office says, “This is a family matter, and thankfully their daughter is okay. There were no serious injuries. The family requests that the media respect their daughter’s privacy at this time.”

“Candidate quality matters.” Well, Democrats were able to election a senile geezer Joe Biden who nobody likes and John Fetterman who can’t complete a sentence. Republicans can win with the worst candidate ever if we understand that elections in 2022 are ballot counting operations
I’m not denying Herschel was a flawed candidate but seriously, “candidate quality” is a cope people are using to justify the failures of national Republicans to elect the candidates Republican voters choose in primaries and when the flawed Dem candidates win and ours lose.

I’ve learned not to focus my energy on things I can’t control. So, instead of pointing fingers at others,
I’m going to spend Dec.-Jan. working on the RNC Chair race, creating a ballot harvesting manual,
& preparing to flip the Kentucky and Louisiana governorships in 2023.
Have you watched any of Walker’s speeches? I disagree with Frederick. I have watched many of his speeches, he was articulate, he did have a message, and held strongly to conservative values. The message never got out to the masses though, because he never had big money support.
I do not recall him ever turning from Trump, where did you hear that?
I hate to see that we have lost another election and to watch our side eat its own. It’s always the candidate was bad or we didn’t get out the vote, etc. They tried to say the same about Trump. But the past four elections in Georgia have the exact same red flags and no one wants to talk about that.
In fact it is very likely that Walker won November based on evidence that has come out since.

I know Walker brought in Kemp to help (he didn’t do much IMO), but I see nothing that he ditched Trump. Here he says:

I wouldn’t be surprised if the GA Repub Senate candidates, that Trump supported, in 2020, didn’t win.
I wouldn’t be surprised if it turns out Walker won, outright, in November.
And...I wouldn’t be surprised if he actually won, AGAIN, in this runoff.
The Dem cheat machine has it down, pat. We’re seeing that, with each recent election.
The Dem candidates can barely speak....they make very few public appearances....especially with no comparison to crowd size, to the Repub candidates.....yet, somehow, they magically “win”.
You would think, as Marco Rubio just tweet suggested, we would be immediately ushering in new Pubbie leadership. ESPECIALLY in the Senate AND RNC Chair, after these EPIC losses.

As far as Walkers turning from Trump, I can’t say where I heard that just that there was some talk of it, no proof that I have.

Unless we get a handle on the election fraud, we are destined to lose many winnable elections, as you pointed out Walker probably won in Nov.
I only know that Kemp offered to help (I think McConnell was behind that) and Walker accepted. I haven’t seen anything that indicated that Walker initiated it
I’m glad you get it. I feel we have to shut down this dem machine, or learn to play the game, but it seems like we can’t even get people on our side to agree on why this keeps happening!
Saying it’s the candidate’s fault once and a while I get it, but our side can’t keep using that excuse because it is happening to ALL our candidates in key races. I have even heard folks right here on FR blame Kari Lake for her “loss” in AZ. Someone out there is trying to divide conservatives and the GOP in general so we don’t fix the real issue!

If Walker had Haley and McRomney at his rally, he may as well have put up an anti-MAGA sign! Tone-deaf doesn’t describe that kind of stupidity! Sounds like Walker tried to play both sides - fence sitting will get you but one thing - butt splinters.
MTG saying on WR that Walker campaign didn’t ask her to help - this has the stink of McConnell/Kemp all over it....and Walker felt he had to go along for some reason.
