Gee thanks Todd. I was there and I saw a lot of people around me during those years that were negatively affected by all the s*** that was happening. He was part of the problem.

Stones are my go to band. I have every album. No record player anymore, so they decorate the the hallway. Have every tune on thumb drive. I love everything they have ever done.

Richards is brilliant, I even have a 5 string open g guitar. They were a big influence on me in my teenage rockstar wannabe days. (I still play at 52). Have you ever seen him play piano? There is a great doc on him on Netflix or somewhere.

I have seen them twice at the Cotton Bowl (Steel Wheels and Voodoo Lounge). They do a badass show.

JL was a violent, heroin addled thug. His youngest son was born addicted. Fact. He is not in a good place these days.

He was part of the problem.

Yes he was. And still is.

Keith played piano on some tapes. Him doing country tunes, such as Apartment Number Nine.

Glad you saw them at their prime. Must have been riotous at the Cotton Bowl! In their tour a few months ago, people would post tunes to YouTube. I found it boring. But everyone said Keith was playing guitar, the best he had in years.

The Voodoo Lounge we got rained on. They had people chunking Pancho’s into the crowd! I still have that Pancho! The show went on! It was great! Rain stopped about halfway through and it got hot again ( October in Texas is usually warm to hot). Mic was awesome. It was Keith, Ronnie, Charlie, and Wyman’s replacement, black guy who rocked the bass. Best show I have ever seen next to SRV at Will Rodgers Auditorium. That’s another story....:’)
