Any advice or help that the FR community could offer would be greatly appreciated (please send FReepmail if interested). The kitties are located in the Philadelphia suburbs (Montco). One of them (Lily) is pure white, and would make a great Viking Kitty! :-)

My daughter who lives in another state took in a "community cat". She was dismayed to find out after a period of time that the cat was going to become a mother. Cat had numerous kittens. Daughter called every rescue organization she could locate and they were all full. (She's allergic to cats and handicapped. She's also financially stressed.) She finally found an organization that offered assistance but no guarantee of taking the kittens. I asked for the contact information of the organization's representative. I looked at their website and noted the amount of the surrender fee. I then called the rep and bribed her with a contribution exceeding the amount of the surrender fee. Five days later, the rep appeared at daughter's apartment to take the kittens and the mama to the vet to be spayed/neutered at the vet's discounted fee. Mama was returned to daughter and several of the kittens were advertised on the organization's website; the remaining kittens were placed in foster homes to be socialized. Daughter is "in the loop" and receives regular updates on their progress as well as photos.

It took daughter a ton of time to locate an organization that would even consider helping.

Will pray that you find assistance. Thank you from all of us alley cats. Please don't give up.

Just saw this but my advice is to go to a petsmart or local small rescues and offer a nice donation ....taking to county shelter is a death sentence
