Remember when all the innovative and advanced architecture was being built in the U.S.?
Yeah, it was a long time ago.

“The 132-key property offers 270 rooms, 92 suites, four themed suites, and one presidential suite”.
So is half the fun figuring out who else has a key to your room?

The hotel will welcome guest room reservations starting Dec 19 with the lowest price set at a whopping US$2,355 (S$3,235) per night for one person. I suppose I could spend a couple of years there if I wanted to blow my retirement money all at once. By the end of the stay, I might be so sick of luxury that I'd happily spend the rest of my days in poverty. Then again...does the woman pictured come with the room?

At $2,300 a night you should at least call the snails escargots.

Then again...does the woman pictured come with the room? Yes, but, just as pictured. She has no legs or left arm.

What nonsense. The architectural design has nothing to do with Stargate, which was a full circle. Anyone familiar without Islamic iconography can clearly see that the design is a stylistic rendering of crossed scimitars, which is a common Islamic motif.

Must be irksome knowing that if it weren’t for western brains and knowhow your country would have nothing more spectacular than one-story tents to impress the camel herders.

I know…right.
And how many gays got thrown off the top of it?
