I accidentally spilled hot coffee on my leg when I was wearing shorts. I had second-degree burns in a area twice the size of my hand. They gave me a shot of morphine at the ER. They had to peel off the scalded skin, and the injured area was red and bloody and oozy. I almost feel sorry for the guy —almost — but live and learn, right?
