And is the lack of sufficient quantities of the 'on sale' items
only a function of more people buying those items?
Or is it also that the store management is more concerned
about keeping the higher priced non-sale items in stock in greater
quantities because the customer is going to 'buy something' -
so why not have them buy the higher priced, higher markup items?
Probably BOTH, of course ...
