At the age of 62, Leonid Vorobyev retired from the music business and just for fun, got a bunch of friends together to record an obscure song by the band Chicago. After posting the video on youtube, members of Chicago saw it and posted it on their website. In the ensuing four years, Leonid and Friends have recorded dozens of songs, most of which Leonid scored and arranged. They are widely considered the best tribute band of all time and are currently touring America for their third tour.
While many of his band members are younger, three members, including a lead singer are over 50.
We’ve seen them three times and come away just stunned.
