It surprised me to learn that the Pelosis lived in Pacific Heights, in a house that is very accessible to the public. If they were genuinely concerned about being attacked, they could have stayed on their Napa estate, or purchased an off-street mansion in Sausalito or elsewhere nearby. Anyone in San Francisco can walk up to the Pacific Heights house and shoot out its windows from a few yards away.
It would not surprise me at all if the Pelosi's security system failed. Decade after decade of nothing happening will create boredom and inattention to duty in security personnel.
Of course, it is entirely possible that Pelosi's guards were accustomed to him bringing home a sex partner for the night. We just don't know.

Paul was playing hide the hammer with his buddy nd things went wrong. When police respond to a domestic disturbance, the first thing they do at the door is ask the person who called to step outside so they can talk to and protect that person. The fact they did t do it suggests they didn’t believe there was a potentially violent issue.

When a black guy is involved with police, the body cams are all over the news. Why not just release the body cam videos?

Occam’s razor says it was a dispute over gay sex with a male prostitute or boyfriend. I’m going with that until proven otherwise. Nothing else makes any sense at all.
My theory is PP got a new boy toy & DePape found out. DePape breaks in and confronts PP. (When PP tells 911 he doesn’t know who it is and then he’s a friend name is Dave is referring to both guys) New guy lets the cops in the front door and DePape enraged bashes PP with the hammer.
In a weird way, the old spoils system was more honest. Every Federal job was a political appointment. Yes, there was plenty of stealing but at least every four years there was a chance to throw the bums out. Now we have lifetime bureaucrats impervious to the will of the people or control by the executive.
