[Guys like Jamie Dimon have been in banking for forty years - they have seen this all before.]
It’s not so much that Dimon’s a genius as this ain’t rocket science. More leverage = more risk. SBF lacks the right balance of caution and risk-taking necessary to be a banker. Of course, he’s only 30, so doesn’t know any better.

Who the hxll would ever be clueless enough put all their money with a Bernie Madoff, or a Sam Bankman Fried or FTX crypto bank? Cautious people know enough to diversify their funds between a JP Morgan, Fidelity or Vanguard brokerage accounts or FDIC banks. Never have all eggs in one basket.

Most of my retirement is in large-cap equity ETFs. I let the corporate bosses decide. Those are smart guys. If they see a point in owning crypto, they’ll do it, and I’ll have my play through them. I don’t have the time and resources to make this decision on my own, so I don’t try.
