The bigger problem is that the GOP will not only sit on their own hands but their voters too.
Brazil has no 2A but since the government dropped nearly all restrictions on firearms, they have more rights than Americans. Full auto weapons for anyone who wants them. Legal to shoot criminals in the street.
The globalists are experts at manipulating elections:
1. Wall to wall propaganda to get the sheep all bleating on unison, and voting against their interest. And then “this issue has been decided”
2. On a close election, count, recount, cheat until they get the results they want. At which point stop counting... “the issue has been decided.”
3. If they get blown out at the polls... “ It was a fraudulent election” The Russians did it, of course.

It depends. Were there secretive counting processes or major statistical anomalies, where boxes of ballots had Da Silva with over 90 percent, for example?

Easy if you cheat. There are now so many ways. Loads of ballots out of dead and absent people and former owners and now illegal aliens in some places. All one needs is a driver’s license - and the powers that be started giving them to illegals years ago. Ditto for the use of library cards as a way to get voter registration - that, too, does not require citizenship. Adding, subtracting and moving decimal points in a digital record is not hard if you are schooled in the details of the software and have access or hack into the system. Deep sixing filled out ballots from areas known to be conservative, etc. The ones foolishly deposited in drop off boxes. So many people have access to the ballots on their route to the registrar of voters - including at the registrar of voters drop boxes outside the building and sometimes out of view of most staff in the far deserted corn(r)s of the inside of the building. Thousands of extra are hired at election time to help out. It’s doubtful they are in any way vetted.

Because “that could never happen here” is a common talking point that a lot of people believe. Unfortunately, its not true. And the reality is, the law that gets passed today is not necessarily used today to crack down. The gun control laws that were passed in Africa (Rwanda, I believe) were not used for genocide for something like 15 years after they passed, and the genocide was committed by a completely different regime.
