Yet realistically, the supporters of Putin cannot alter their positions. Putin proclaimed rule over 15% of Ukraine: the biggest annexation in Europe since World War II. This is a beyond anyone’s comprehension. Just imagine, trying to defend that political position of such a tyrant.
Despite Putin agreeing and signing the international Budapest Memorandum of political assurances: to “respect the independence and sovereignty and existing borders of Ukraine,” Putin NOW totally disregards and ignores his commitment. Even now Putin is trying to redraw borders he previously committed to preserving using murder, blackmail, mistreatment and lies.
However, President Zelensky said that Kyiv remains committed to the idea of co-existence with Russia: just not with Putin. President Zelensky stated the obvious: “Clearly, with this Russian president it is impossible. He does not know what dignity and honesty are. Therefore, we are ready for a dialogue with Russia, but with another president of Russia.”
How can President Zelensky or any nation be expected to reason and talk with such a man without personal integrity like Putin? Instead of honoring his pledge, Putin now has created a ‘special military operation’ to invade the country of Ukraine. Putin apparently will always invade former USSR neighboring countries that disagree with him. Totally unbelievable!
If Putin wants peace it is very easy: STOP the invasion and go home!

You can! The discussion of the Russian invasion of Ukraine is most important topis of 2022. True, inane Pro-Putin propaganda comments are usually not on topic but rather ‘shoot-the-messenger’. LOL
Free Republic is about having this space to express with the freedom to share political discourse. Decent Freepers obviously share a variety of viewpoints and have the ability express the same in a constructive manner. That is how we learn from each other to broader our information base.

Zelensky is taking orders from Biden and other war mongerers. He’s a weak man with the backing of Biden. . Only a tyrant would remove all preestablished media that doesn’t toe his views. Only a tyrant like zelensky would expel politicians with dissenting voices. Only a sniveling dictator would make a law against negotiating. Quite demanding for a begger.

I wish I could, but it’s difficult to do when you and your pals pollute and clog the news feed with this garbage. Day in and day out.
Most of us wouldn’t care if you only ran a thread or two a day, but you have to put up multiple propaganda threads a day and frankly, a lot of us are sick of it.
I hope you at least donate to FR since you’re using Jim’s forum as an aggregate for pro-war, pro-Biden propaganda spam. And you should pitch in more to compensate for the decent people you’ve driven away from here.

For example. Instead of sharing Putin’s actual transcript of his speech. You posted a tabloid’s interpretation of a few quotes. That’s the type of bs the msm did and still does about Trump.
