The corn mentioned in the Bible is not the same as the corn we make ethanol from. That's maize and it was unknown in the old world. Corn referred to cereal grains like wheat, oats, barley or rye. The name was co-opted onto maize in the new world.
It is still a tremendous waste of resources. All the corn that could feed livestock, chickens and people. Burned for fuel, when more efficient fuels exist, and we actually would use less of the so called Fossil fuels just through the improved MPG.
GaryCrow, were you a Radio Personality/DJ?
I absolutely agree that growing corn for ethanol is a tremendous waste of resources. Putting ethanol in fuel is one of the dumbest things we’ve ever done. It causes untold amounts of repair costs for small engines every year and is just a giveaway to the big agriculture lobby. There is no benefit to it for anyone other than big ag and the politicians in their pockets.
No one invited you here troll.
Go back to DU and pleasure those you are more comfortable with.
