“This poll is several days old and was posted when new. It’s very aggravating to think there’s a new poll to back up previous polls’ data, only to find out, “oh, that IS the old poll.””

Especially when the poll is an outlier, taken by some non-name outfit and seized upon by the most wishful of thinkers.

If a bogus outlier poll had some Democrat unexpectedly close or winning — e.g. polls showing suddenly close Senate races in places like Iowa or Florida where the R should win easily — the mathematicians around here would have dissected and allegedly “debunked” it in about 30 seconds and we’d get the same old lecture about how much all polls suck and how inaccurate they are and how they’re just propaganda with no basis in reality.

Well, almost all polls.

Beware outlier polls from non-entities, no matter how much they tell us what we desperately want to believe.

Mastriano was largely done from the start, the party doesn’t want him and was never going to give more than lip service to him.

The only way Mastriano wins is that the backlash against Biden and the Dem’s is so bad, that folks just straight ticket R vote in disgust.

While I think the state needs an R executive, if he wins this it will certainly be the most unexpected and biggest upset of my lifetime.

There is nothing on the ground in PA that remotely feels like a groundswell for Mastriano... If he does wind up winning somehow, which is highly unlikely, its just part of a repudiation fo the democrats... but I really don’t see anything going on on the ground that leads me to believe some undetected groundswell of support exists for Mastriano.

And You are correct, perhaps over in Philly.. but out in SW PA, there is hardly any advertising of the governors race at all going on... I think I’ve seen 1 or 2 legitimate shapiro ads, and maybe 1 Mastriano ad.... There are tons of outside money left wing PAC ads attacking Mastriano, and some congressional races have dem ads trying to tie the R running to Mastriano...

But honestly the completely ridiculous Senate race has overshadowed the governors race as a whole for the most part.

Mastriano, like Oz, has been visiting each County in PA to gain support from the base.

Both have succeeded in doing so.

Dem ads have been so repetitive and similar for each candidate they’ve become counterproductive.

Big ad blitzes for both starting now.

They will both surf to a win riding the Red tsunami. Fear not…but VOTE.
