I remember when I was about 8 years old we visited some family in Montana, and my parents brought us to see the hungry horse dam. There was a spider on the concrete walkway about the size of my outstretched hand, purplish in color. I stepped on it since it scared me and it made the loudest crunching noise, like it was made of glass or hard plastic and felt the crunch reverberate up my leg. I don’t know why but it felt gross and the sound and feeling stayed with me all my life up to now

I let Daddy Long Legs be, if they make their webs in hidden outdoor areas, because they eat other spiders. But any insectoid critters intruding into the interior of the house are quickly dispatched to the Rainbow Bridge.
Never saw any mad Max movies except for fury road and thought it sucked.except for the car with tracks. Could definitely use one of those where I live
I routinely police the perimeter for Black Widows. They are not welcome.
Spiders and their webs in out of the way corners are welcome here. They catch bugs better than I do. Ditto little geckos
I don’t know if you’d like it, but Road Warrior is quite a bit different than Fury Road.
I wish we had more spiders here.
