I’m old enough to remember when smoking and drinking at any age was just part of growing up. What changed is the government decided these were problematic. The government made them illegal and started an education campaign. I remember the transition phase well where some kids at a party would start drinking or smoking and the others used peer pressure to stop them. But eventually the culture was changed. Now we’re into genital mutilation. I think it started years ago with piercings and tattoos, but those weren’t bad-boy enough. To stop this madness the government would need to take a playbook from earlier days, outlaw mutilation and start a publicity campaign to change the culture. But they won’t because a society if it is sane, it won’t vote socialist. The more insane the more socialist the voters get. Once you’ve been totally mutilated, you’ll need all the welfare assistance you can get.

The difference between football and sex change operations is one doesn’t play football to get brain injuries while the trans sex operations is to cause sterility.
People supporting these transgender transitions for a young person need a transition of their own; possibly a rather drastic one.
Unfortunately that seems to have gone out the window long ago.
