People’s Gardens empower communities to participate in local food production and provide diversity and resiliency to the food supply chain. They also teach about the benefits of sustainable, local agriculture and how gardening can foster community collaboration, provide green gathering spaces, and benefit the environment.
Good grief... "diversity" to the food supply chain. I'm sick and tired of hearing that word.
The distinction doe snot matter, this is literally just another step in overall control. History as enough examples of the food supply being raided by the government, just look at Ukraine in the 1930s.
It is more about registering the people willing to grow food than the garden itself. Think more broadly on what such a registration actually means.
Which means they get it and we don’t.
Plus, I have no doubt they know that home gardeners are also not going to be planting their GMO, poison death clot shot produce, so they will want to keep the pureblood produce for themselves.

sorry for the repost, really wish there was an edit function. I meant DOES matter
Right after I get my 8th CONvid booster jab........
Pay cash and buy heirloom plants and save the seeds yourself.
Cut their budget.
“Almost 100 years ago the Soviets confiscated ALL the food in Ukraine. Millions died.”
My Grandfather went through it. He was 18 at the time and what pissed him off the most was they took his white stallion.
Somehow his parent got him and his brother out and into the American Army to fight in WWI.
Just like allowing abortion only in cases of rape or incest, or the gay lobby of”we don’t want gay marriage”, or any other slippery slope move the government makes.
It ALWAYS starts out innocuous and before you know it, it’s full out government control of everything, forcing you to tow the party line or else, all for your own good, of course, comrade.
They can take my radishes from my cold dead fingers
No, cutting the budget isn’t enough.
Obliterate the entire department.
“Death to the Kulaks!”
Tell ‘em you lost your garden in a boating accident.
Do NOT register your garden!>>> Mine was wiped out in a flood..
When Gardens are Outlawed, only Outlaws will have Gardens.
Are the 87000 irs agents being hired to tax you on the Imputed income from your garden?>>> Check Glenshaw Glass lawsuit. It’s called appurtenance to wealth. It is taxable. As everything that moves it would only legally be taxable as a direct tax and apportioned among the states. But Glenshaw made it income and thus falls into the income taxable non direct, etc.
"doe snot matter"
“If you think it’s butter, but it’s snot.....It’s Chiffon!”
USDA can FO, hard.
If they are looking for gardeners who plant seeds from old varieties or those not used by commercial farms, cool. We need food crop diversity since a blight can come along without any warning — even if there isn’t a WHO/CDC office trying to create one.
If they ask for anything else tell ‘em to bugger off.
