Having a degree from an ivy league university

Is not, IMO, a sign of any great intelligence.

I have known people who are smart in one thing and absolutely stupid in other things even when they have the evidence in front of them.

From the article:

Having a degree from an ivy league university and several letters after your name doesn’t necessarily mean that you can reason well and not fall prey to indoctrination from the public academia system.

A sincere student of the Holy Scriptures, a child of The Heavenly Father and servant/Friend of His Son already knows the answer to this question, which is a conundrum to those who have no spiritual life:

"The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding" (Proverbs 9:10 of the King James Bible).

"But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man" (1 Corinthians 2:14-15 of the KJB).
The population of a land settled by Europeans that was finally separated from its Continental government by the Declaration of Independence; kept its separation by God-blessed military victory over its adversaries; and united under a Constitution inscripturated by a Christian-dominated leadership on Biblical principles; had an educational system(s) first begun in its families and their churches with indoctrination on well-known Biblical principles and morality.

The beginnings of the higher education institutions were meant to train ministers of local churches to educate their members into literacy, to read and apply Biblical principles under English common law, and to survive with a continuity of personal guidance from its men of political influence.

In the interim period from 1789 when the unifying Constitution was accepted by the people of the states until now, there has been an ongoing determined movement to dechristianize the basis of the state and federal governments, which started through enactment of public education in local schools that first indoctrinated students with Biblical morality, capitalistic economy, and personal accountability for ones actions. But ever since, the agnostic and atheistic minor elements have prevailed over and over to make the state and federal courts accept and enforce abandonment of the Biblical principles upon which the tolerance of the U. S. Constitution and its initial Amendments were founded.

And in that movement, its initiation was begun in the colleges and universities which first trained ministers as the educators, then forced them out of that rule upon the advisement of the ever-liberalizing faculties. This liberalizing of which we now know the full damage to the Original Intent of the Constitution, was focused and permanently implanted by the progressive socialist educator, Horace Mann (click here) , in the mid-1800s. Excerpts of his bio from Wikipedia are as follows:

No one did more than he to establish in the minds of the American people the conception that education should be universal, non-sectarian, free, and that its aims should be social efficiency, civic virtue, and character, rather than mere learning or the advancement of sectarian ends.[1]No one did more than he to establish in the minds of the American people the conception that education should be universal, non-sectarian, free, and that its aims should be social efficiency, civic virtue, and character, rather than mere learning or the advancement of sectarian ends."

"As the Old Deluder Satan Act and other 17th-century Massachusetts School Laws attest, early education in Massachusetts had a clear religious intent. However, by the time of Mann's leadership in education, various developments (including a vibrant populist Protestant faith and increased religious diversity) fostered a secular school system with a religiously passive stance."
Upon that revolutionary dechristianizing influence came another, more determined rejection of any taint of Biblical intrusion, from the Marxist mind of John Dewey and his "Human Manifesto" (click here) that has captured to whole thrust of the once-professional, now destabilizing NEA and its unprofessional union AFT. They do no longer want any parental influence on their indoctrination of their classes with depraved teachings. Here is an excerpt from the Joy!News blog article about the Communist invasion of America:
"The “Father of American Education” John Dewey, taught that the only truth was what man said to be, that learning from history was bad, learning from one’s parents and family members was foolish. Furthermore, Dewey was possibly involved in the publication of A Humanist Manifesto, published in 1933.

A Humanist Manifesto taught there was no God, Darwinism was a valid concept, science trumps religion, and more.

Combine A Human Manifesto with Dewey’s teachings that freedom is not “a ready-made possession” and natural rights belonged to “the kingdom of mythological social zoology,” and you had millions of young Americans minds being prepped to embrace the tenets of communism."
This centuries-old decline has been permitted by our Constitution, and it is a test whether we could keep a Christian-based congregationally represented republic or not.

Our nation has failed the test, again and again. The Satanic influence of a majority of citizens, disavowing obedience to Godly principles, no longer clinging to the morality and religion under which our Founders operated, now prevails. And our chief executive invites a flood of more such immigrants to illegally enter. be enabled, and abide to vote in irreparable changes.

"Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any otherkind of people" (John Adams, 2nd President)

"Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience: Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath, even as others" (Eph. 2:2-3  AV).
We. intended to be an ever-renewing nation of principled generations, have instead become more and more unprincipled, though our Founding documents has slowed it, they have not stopped it, and are now being eliminated as useless, as the Bible predicts.

Only the Second Coming of the Messiah, the Prince of Peace, to institute His Kingdom of Righteousness and Peace can make the necessary coming change for the world; and total confidence and trusting commitment to this Prince and His Plan can make a change now, instantly, for the Bible-believing individual.

So be It.

The degrees recognizing the wisdom gained under the indoctrination by a God-appointed spiritual elder are not of the kind described by this above article as being deceptive, but rather ones in which the reader can find a degree of confidence, if the counsel of that scholar is confluent with the guidance of the Holy Spirit as found in the original manuscripts of which our Bible versions are translated.

You can forget most modern versions, including the latest, the ESV, the NIV, the ASV, and many others. Almost all of these, which have led our denominations--all of them--astray, have at their New Testament core a "critical" "eclectic" Greek textform never seen by the human eye until its first publication in 1881, synthesized by two English socialistic professors of Cambridge, and confuting in many areas of the Greek text upon which the King James Bible was made and used by the government of the Britain Empire.

As recorded in Wikipedia, one of these professors later became a representative of progressiveness in religion:

Westcott's presidency of the Christian Social Union from 1889 did much to draw mainstream, respectable churchgoers into calling for justice for the poor and unemployed in the face of the predominant laissez-faire economic policies.
This is just a beginning taste of what his influence on the formation and application of his work to our "Christianity"-professing but really non-believing voter segment has meant.

So think of what this article says, eh? Who then is issuing these degrees? Are they people who are spiritually-qualified to judge who is suitable and fit to be recommended into various professions?
