Alexander from The Duran thinks this Putin press conference suggests that Russia is on the cusp of moving from a "special military operation" to an "anti-terror operation."

Another escalation in this conflict.

-------------------------------------------------------

The New Atlas:

🇦🇲🇦🇿 2019 RAND Corporation Paper Sought to "Exploit Armenian-Azeri Tensions" to "Extend Russia"

The RAND Corporation Paper titled, "Extending Russia," lists many options the US has clearly attempted to execute since.

Regarding Azerbaijan and Armenia specifically, in Chapter 4 titled, “Geopolitical Measures,” the RAND paper states (emphasis added):

"This chapter describes six possible U.S. moves in the current geopolitical competition: providing lethal arms to Ukraine, resuming support to the Syrian rebels, promoting regime change in Belarus, exploiting Armenian and Azeri tensions, intensifying attention to Central Asia, and isolating Transnistria (a Russian-occupied enclave within Moldova)."

There is no "coincidence" regarding the multiplying conflicts appearing along Russia's periphery.

It is yet another example of how not Russia nor China threaten global peace and stability - but rather those attempting to impose this "international order" on the planet in the first place.

If nothing else, Putin certainly comes across as lucid. And unlike our current politicos, the urge to demonize all Americans due to the actions of our government is resisted:

"So they have lifted sanctions on our fertilisers. The Americans were actually the first to lift them, since they are generally pragmatic people. Speaking of Ukrainian grain exports, do you know who actually exports it? It is done by American companies, which are the owners of this grain for the most part. It appeared to be that land in Ukraine was sold to US companies long ago – and they are simply exporting their own grain. That is apparently the reason behind so much talk about it. But I digress."

Thanks for posting this.

I imagine the significance of what is being created with SCO and the BRICS will be lost on most here. It would be too far a stretch mentally.

Putin Direct @PutinDirect

Putin: Much of the Ukrainian grain is actually American after Ukraine sold its farmlands to U.S. companies.

A.) Putin:

“Second, I told them many times. “Gazprom is not supplying gas.” Look, are you normal people or what? Poland chose to impose sanctions against the Yamal-Europe gas pipeline and shut off the route. I told Mr [German Chancellor Olaf] Scholz: “Why are you calling me? Call Warsaw and ask them to reopen the route.” That is all there is to it. That’s the first.”

Yep, call Warsaw.

Germany fears inevitable bankruptcy amid energy crisis

The Bundestag calls on the country to negotiate with Russia ‘with an open mind’, as anti-Russian sanctions begin to take their toll on the deteriorating economy and energy scarcity.

In a tweet on Thursday, German left-wing politician and chairman of the Bundestag committee on energy, Klaus Ernst, referenced statements by Chancellor Olaf Scholz that the sanctions should not hit Europe harder than Russia itself: “We have now imposed seven packages of sanctions and Gazprom is making record profits. At the same time, we are threatened with a wave of bankruptcies. Therefore: negotiate with Russia with an open mind”.

Good post, btw.

China, India, and Russia are also members of BRICS, and the ACO accounts for 30% of global GDP, not 25%.

"It is unfortunate that at some point they decided to use Ukraine for these purposes. "

Poor Putin forced to invade Ukraine by the evil western powers.

While I think Putin did a huge mistake by invading Ukraine, atleast he can think coherently and talk coherently. Unlike old FJB.

Poor Russia! Everyone is trying to destroy them!

Putin, as a typical KGB lying thug, tries to reverse cause and effect, and pretends that a western desire to punish Russia is what triggered the war. But the truth is the reverse. 99% of Americans couldn't have given two craps about what Russia did prior to its decision to invade Ukraine. And most Europeans were happy to guzzle Russian fossil fuels and go about their merry way. And neither the Europeans nor Americans had any interest at all in punishing -- much less dismembering -- Russia.

It was only after Russia invaded Ukraine, and people recognized that Putin would never being willing to concede defeat, that some people started saying he had to go. But again, that was a consequence of the invasion, not the cause.

I notice that President Putin looks fit as a fiddle and likely ready to challenge Shohei Ono for the middleweight Judo title next olympiad. The Soros-bots here have all been claiming that the guy has been at Death’s door.

You wrote, “The Soros-bots here have all been claiming that the guy has been at Death’s door.”

The Soros-bots here are deliberate liars and in some cases probably paid deliberate liars.

Mollie Hemmingway (Chief editor of the Federalist) recently commented on a new study of Ukraine war bots. 90% are pro-Ukrainian bots, only 6.7% are Russian bots. She wondered who is financing these bots.
