Looks like they took lessons from Dan Snyder on how to alienate fans.

If that helps keep some of the human trash out, good for Disney.
That may well be part of the underlying motivation. Six Flags has gotten a very bad rep from people using their parks as day care for Yuths. It was the low season pass price that made it possible. I think they wised up, but the damage may be done.
Sadly, part of what you are now paying for is a civilized experience for you and your kids.
My last visit to DisneyLand was in 1999. You could not pay me to go back.

Yeah. That “f” word jumped out at me, too. Nobody is forced to go there.

Through high prices, Disney is banking coin for now but they may be damaging their customer base in the long run. The current environment permits prices increases because of pent-up demand post-COVID, but Disney is also developing a reputation for price-gounging that is likely to deter repeat vists and price sensitive visitors in the long run. And once a business develops a reputation for being on the wrong side of the price/value equation, it can take years and lots of investment and patience to reverse course and recover standing with the public.

“The old Sunday night Disney program on TV was good.”
I liked the original Mickey Mouse Club. Especially “Anything Can Happen Day” on Fridays. And Spin and Marty.
Never saw “Disneyland” on Sunday night. Church.

I have a problem when the charity involved is the county fair itself. If it were the VFW or a church having a brat fry I would feel differently.

Just like corn on the cob. Soft pretzels are a “salt delivery device”.

The last time I went to Disney in Orlando it was $15 admission and all the transportation was included.

In my household we don't watch ABC or ESPN (Disney),we don't visit Disney parks or buy Disney Blurays. We are a Disney free household and have been since Disney World started having “Gay Day” some years ago.

You may be right, or it could be that the Disney experience is still underpriced for those that enjoy it (for the record, not me).
I say this because they raised prices, lost attendance, but still increased profits. Only when they start to lose money by raising prices are they overpriced.
